When Black women hold office, they fight for what communities need most: healthy births for all mothers, equal pay for all women and leaders who answer to all the people they serve. Elect Black Women PAC makes sure those women have support early, before the polls, the party and the big donors show up.

The numbers show why this work is needed. According to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, no Black woman has ever served as governor and 34 states have never elected a Black woman to statewide executive office. Black women are about 8% of the U.S. population but hold 5.4% of state legislative seats. And when Black women get on the ballot, they win: 63% of Black women nominated for Congress in 2024 won their races. See the data in Black Women in American Politics 2025.

Since 2020, EBW PAC has endorsed 223 Black women in 31 states, from school board to the U.S. Senate. So far, 107 of them have won.

We are womanist. Until all women are free, none of us are. We are all in on Black women, including trans women and disabled women, because their wins make life better for all women and all people.
