I am an Independent candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives for New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District. As an engineer (my trade) and teacher (my passion), I have a unique combination of skills and perspectives that have always enabled me to approach issues and problems fairly from a variety of angles. I’ve always had a deep love of comedy, theater, music, and entertainment.
I’m experienced in education, engineering, technology, healthcare, law, finance, operations, and humanities and have a broad understanding of the issues affecting New Jersey’s communities. My life has been a journey of growth, so much so, that I’d like to give back to make a positive impact
Key Issues and PositionsIssue #1: Free Speech and Expression — All forms of expression should be protected and never prohibited, censured, or limited. Everything we do should be upheld with the First Amendment in mind, the rights that all individuals should retain — speech, press, assembly (protest), grievance (protest), and religion.
Issue #2: Healthcare and Education — Each should be universally free with private companies and academic institutions serving as non-profits providing specialized services. Profiting from education, healthcare, or any public service should not be permissible. No one adult should attain a higher standard of care than another. Everyone has a right to attain knowledge and live pain-free lives.
Issue #3: Technology and Innovation — I would promote digital literacy and universal access to a Free Internet and ensure that advanced research and development in technology adheres to ethical standards aligned with the principles of the Constitution, the rights to privacy, security, and anonymity. Caution and oversight is needed in areas like artificial intelligence, but automation will bolster creative companies and produce economic growth via individual, household ingenuity.
