Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thanks to your support, we've made real progress together. Since being elected to serve House District 67, Rep. Glaize has established herself as a legislative powerhouse:

  • Sponsored and co-sponsored 51 bills — with 32 passed and 3 signed into law
  • In 2026 alone: Filed 21 bills · Co-sponsored 42 bills · Passed 4 local bills · Blocked 3 harmful bills
  • Helped restore the HOPE Scholarship to 100%
  • Championed teacher raises, mental health expansion, and automatic senior tax abatements
  • Secured her place as the only Democrat serving on both the K-12 and Higher Ed Committees
  • Was elected Chair of Education for the Fulton Delegation and appointed Education Chair of the GA Legislative Black Caucus

This year alone in the 2026 legislative session, Rep. Glaize delivered historic wins for working families:

  • Secured $850 million in homestead tax relief, lowering property tax bills by an average of $500
  • Helped cap annual property tax valuations at 3% to protect homeowners from sharp increases
  • Returned a one-time refundable income tax rebate to Georgia families — up to $500 for joint filers
  • Led the fight that secured $50M in housing grants to combat homelessness
  • Set aside $5M dedicated to housing for our veterans
  • Led action to close the $85.7M foster care shortfall alongside Rep. Oliver, ensuring services for foster children were restored
  • Championed the $350M DREAMS Scholarship — need-based support for Georgia students
  • Passed the Early Literacy Act, putting $70M toward literacy coaches in every Georgia school for grades K–3
  • Secured $4.8M in additional funding for COMP/NOW Waivers, expanding services for individuals with disabilities
  • Expanded the Maternal Home Visiting Program by $3.7M to reach 33 additional counties
  • Delivered a $300M increase in mental health services funding
  • Expanded Pre-K access with $9.7M in new funding

But Lydia's leadership doesn't stop at the Capitol.

This past year, she:

  • Launched the Summer Reading Rewards Program, helping Liberty Point and Palmetto Elementary take home 1st and 2nd place countywide
  • Led a Listening Tour across all five Coweta County schools to hear directly from students and staff
  • Hosted planting days at Thomas Elementary to bring joy, learning, and community together
  • Mentored high school seniors, helping them enroll in 21+ colleges and universities — including the U.S. Air Force Academy
  • Was one of only 3 state legislators invited to the White House for a national convening on child care access
  • Advocated for literacy coaches in every Georgia elementary school through the General Assembly's Council on Literacy

This is what it means to lead with purpose. To listen. To act. To build trust and get things done.

As we look ahead to the next chapter, we're asking for your continued support.

Your contribution today powers everything from community events to policy research to re-election efforts — and every dollar directly supports the work of keeping District 67 at the table and in the conversation.
