Signatures are being collected for a California ballot initiative to legalize magic mushrooms in 2021. I believe there's a very real possibility that voters will pass the initiative and we'll be living in a state where residents can purchase life-saving psychedelic therapy and guided experiences for personal growth. In order to make this world a reality, the sponsoring organization, DecriminalizeCA, needs to gather roughly 700,000 signatures by May, which will require raising about $2M to qualify the ballot for a vote in the 2020 election.
