Elect Black Women PAC proudly endorses N'Kiyla "Jasmine" Thomas for U.S. Senate in Oklahoma. Born and raised in Ardmore, Jasmine is a nurse, disability advocate, military spouse and proud Chickasaw citizen.

As a nurse, Jasmine advocates for universal health care, rural health care access, mental health resources, reproductive rights and protections for health care workers. She is a passionate advocate for disability rights, public education and support for working families.

Her grassroots campaign is powered by volunteers and a growing coalition of progressives, independents, young voters and working-class Oklahomans. In the Senate, she will focus on health care, education, raising the federal minimum wage and civil rights. She also supports unions, fair wages, affordable child care and government accountability.

As of 2025, only two Black women were serving in the U.S. Senate, according to the Center for American Women and Politics. If elected, Jasmine would become one of the youngest Black and Native women ever elected to the Senate.
