I went to work for the City of Columbus — and for 41
years, I served. For 20 of those years, I had the
honor to serve as your City Manager. And from the
very first day I stepped into city government, I knew
— I wanted to be your mayor.

But we won’t get there with politics as usual. We’ll
get there together.

Together — we’ll build a Columbus where hope is
our compass.
Where unity through reconciliation is our path.
Where “One Columbus” is not just a slogan — it’s
our shared purpose.

We will leave no one behind.
