I’m a proud graduate of Westerville City Schools, a mom of two current students, and a passionate public education advocate for kids and families in our district. While on the board these past four years, we have lead efforts that put students first—like placing guidance counselors in every school, expanding support for special education and English learners, an electric pre-apprentice program, and opening a new middle school to reduce overcrowding.
Now, I’m running for re-election to continue this important work.
My priorities are clear:
✅ Student-centered programming
✅ Safe, welcoming school environments
✅ More support for teachers and staff
✅ Smart, efficient use of every tax dollar
Public education is the heart of a strong community. Every dollar you give helps us reach more voters and keep our momentum going.
Chip in today and help us build a brighter future for all Westerville City Schools District students!

Campaign Update
Dear Friends,
Thanks to your incredible support, my re-election campaign for the Westerville City Schools Board of Education is off to a strong start! I’m getting close to collecting the 600+ signatures needed to officially get my name on the ballot—and I’m so grateful to everyone who has already signed.
This weekend, I’ll be out and about collecting signatures and connecting with our community. Here’s where you can find me:
Westerville Farmers Market (9 AM -12 PM)
Sip & Sign at North High Brewing | Saturday, 1–3 PM
Blendon Township’s Concert in the Park | Saturday, 6–8 PM (behind Minerva Park Middle School, weather permitting)
If you haven’t signed yet and can’t make it to these events, just reply to this email or send me a message and we’ll find a time to meet up!
A special thank you to everyone who has volunteered to walk with me in the 4th of July Parade—your willingness to pass out candy and campaign literature helps spread the word in such a fun and meaningful way.
As you know, I am working toward a fundraising goal of $12,000. Because of your early contributions, I’ve already been able to print business cards (with the OSU football schedule on the back!) and order campaign t-shirts.
But I still need to raise funds to cover yard signs, postcards, doorhangers, and more to reach voters across the district. Will you consider sharing my information with your friends and family members?
Every dollar helps us move closer to ensuring Westerville continues to be a student-centered district—where staff are supported to meet each child’s unique needs and our schools are safe, inclusive spaces for all.
Thank you again for being part of this journey with me.
With gratitude, Kristy Meyer
