In the heart of North Texas lies the City of Fate, a community known as a family friendly community of 27,000 residence with a spirit that embodies the very essence of unity and progress. Yet, as we edge closer to the upcoming city council elections, an unsettling campaign driven by my opponents have caused division which threatens to erode the fabric of our beloved community.
Recently, campaigns have been marked by an unprecedented level of discord sown by one candidate vying for City Council Place 5 (the seat I am running for). Instead of focusing on the pressing issues that face our city—from improving our schools and infrastructure to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents—this campaign has increasingly polarized our community, creating rifts among neighbors where there should be bridges.
This is not the city we know and love. This is not the future we envision for our children.
My name is John Hamilton, and I am stepping forward to offer an alternative. I am running for City Council Place 5 because I believe in a Fate that thrives on unity, respects diversity, and champions the collective good over individual discord.
